I'm Crazy About Raw Food

This is a coconut almond cake filled with cashew cream and chocolate hazelnut cream that i made before I travelled. Amazing.

Ever since I went to the Tree of Life detox and live food center in Arizona last year i've been dabbling about in raw food. The philosophy of the raw food movement is that cooking depletes most of the nutrients and enzymes in foods in their natural state and to achieve optimum health, eat mostly raw fruit, veg and nuts and seeds. Eliminate all wheat, dairy, meat and sugar from your diet. It works for me! I NEVER feel full and i actually feel full from eating just a little raw, I've been making almond milk as home by the bucketload and loving it, and most of all i notice changes in my skin, how i feel, even my mood! Its crazy. Anyway, i thought i'd give you a little taste of how delicious raw foods are from my favorite raw chef Ani Phyo. I wont bore you with details but I highly suggest you check it out!A dehydrator is one of the tools of raw food cooking. It dries things into "breads" and biscuits and cookies without actually heating the food up. Here I made some rye-flax flatbreads with fennel seeds and zucchini bread.

Dressing Room Topshop Avenues

The first of the flood of backlogged posts. These pics were taken on the last day of December last year. Its funny how people actually know about these dressing rooms in Topshop Avenues. It makes for a much more pleasurable dressing experience. Except when everything looks bad then you have EXTRA mirrors. And that's me in the famous Dries pants and Imperiales (which I was walking in for 5 hours that day by the way!).

So I suck as a blogger i know. I check my e-mail once every 5 years (I'm working on that), I never check my stats (because I don't know how), and I update like a schizo. But you still love me right? RIGHT?? Hahahah :) My sincere apologies to Dana from Overdressed who e-mailed me 500 years ago and kept me updated with everything and invited me to the Atelier Mayer thing. Sorry, I just checked my e-mail and saw them all. That's awful though I would have loved to come but i was actually in "ma98a6 ra2si" at that time (London) and couldn't have been there anyhow. Bah! I wish I had the time and inclination to take nice shots for the blog. I'll work on that and i'll try not to smack you with a million political rants in a row. But yo in my defence, that's my major! So I'm on this detox thing in Bodrum right now and I got the blogging fever again. Ready! Steady! DELUGE!
