Turns out i love it. Hey guys! Am in Liban at the moment, boring myself to death in Bhamdoun, surrounded by old people for whom going to Beirut (or in fact, anywhere) is something akin to Mission Impossible and requires an entire team of planners and a 2-week preparation period. Buuuut. i just got back from one of the best vacations ever with my mum!! We went to Mumbai, Delhi and the Himalayas (aaaaahhhhhh... my head is still reeling with the beauty of it) where we went trekking and spa-ing and swimming in clouds of mist it was super. And THEN (and prepare yourself for a surprise) we went to YEMEN!! It was so cool! Super cool! Incredible! Defied all expectations! Old Sanaa was a treasure, an absolute treasure and the people are conservative but very welcoming. The villages and towns are breathtaking and the landscape is wonderful. And the silver market is a dream. Duh. After Sanaa took off to Socotra, a UN-preserved island to the south with fab hiking opportunities, incredible flora and fauna and MIND-BENDINGLY GORGEOUS beaches. Plus the pilot let me sit in the cockpit. Beat that.
Any way.. check my necklace
Gaurav Gupta. Major Indian talent. Loved this necklace at first sight. from Bombay Electric.
Standing in my dressing room at The Imperial in Delhi. Shraykom bil "Punjabi-style" Something Else t-dress with pale pink mesh leggings from this fancy-pants sari shop (which my nanny later ruined in the wash)? Haha, ya3ni trying to "blend in". Paired with canary satin "mughal" Prada slingbacks, a COS jacket and bad, humidity-abused hair.
The coolest shop in Mumbai: Bombay Electric, right opposite the Taj.
I am not actually in Libnan anymore. The internet was so slow there i could never post pictures.
