Skinny Girls in Fab Socks

Hey guuys, long time no blog! Guess who's back in K-town? So... i've had these camel-colored MiuMiu wool over-the-knee socks for a looong loong time, before they became a must-have, even before Gossip Girl (gasp!) and 7aram i never wore them once. But i really want to, bes my legs aren't skiny enough yet. Yabeelhom really skinny thighs that don't have any 3irth at the top so that they can look cute and elegant, not bulky and scandalous. Yalla soon inshallah. Here are some of my fave pics of skinny girls in their over-knees that i took from some thinspo sites. Sh7alathom, their legs are straight and the socks fit like a dream, no bulge on top (yuck) or bulkiness or anything! On a side note, tara there aren't that many places which sell nice over-the-knee socks. Ligait shwaya 3ala Urban but they aren't as nice as the MiuMiu ones. I've been trying to find some cute ones with bows on top and stuff but i mostly end up with garish nylon things

CHAYKAW My New Shoes!

Mashallah. I adoooore them! They are by this brand called Finsk. When i saw them on the website i just literally called them up and had them shipped from London, i couldn't find them anywhere! I loved the graphic style and jutting wooden heel bottom and the lacquered white wood with the grey and royal blue suede. The fact that it was a shoe-boot (my favorite) just made them more irresistible. Ya3ni, please, ligaitaw shay styly akthar? She also does shoes for Ports and Basso and Brooke! Wore them to my major's Christmas party. They take a bit of getting used to but they are otherwise comfortable and 5ala9, t3awadt.

Places To Eat New York: SWEETIEPIE

I love this place. I was soo tired on Sunday when i had to head back to university from New York. I was dead tired, harassed, totally going to be late for my train and it was raining cats and dogs but i just had to get my bag, extremeyl heavy buffalo duffel bag and two big Barney's shopping bags filled with Christmas gifts over to Sweetiepie in the West Village. It is basically a restaurant for kids and people who need a cure for depression. It is extremely bright, pink, happy and the food is good. The ceiling is a giant mirror and the shelves behind the bar are stacked full of candy in crystal containers and vintage children's books with faded yet cheerful covers and elaborate silver teapots. The place is filled with sweet little kids exclaiming excitedly over their beautiful desserts and parents just as happy to be there as their kids are.

It was dark and rainy that day. That would have been so bad had i had an umbrella and not been carrying five million bags on me without any taxi in sight!

Sundae with hot fudge sauce. Yum!

Their pinkalicious drink came in an Alice in Wonderland glass. its filled with smashed berries and pink lemonade or something. Actually, i feel like one right now. 

I always used to want one of these as a kid!

My Two Favorite YSL Shoe Styles

You know what? Although at first i went hmmmm... i actually really like this style! I was in Bergdorf's shoe salon today and got a strong urge to try them on. Luckily i resisted. There is something so delightfully subversive about the gigantic happily roundish yet grounded front contrasted with the stark stick heel. Tribtoo is a definite WIN.

This is very, very Imperiale. True to its name. The shape of the front, coupled with the luxuriously textured suede, the soft, powdery colours and the fantastic "drop" type wedge on a platform is sheer perfection!

Guillaume Hinfray Hache Boot

MORE SHOES!!

Guillaume Hinfray has been around for a while, bes for those who dont know him he is a French shoe designer who worked previously for Bottega and Ferregamo and now has his own brand. Super high quality stuff. I loved this bootie. In both colors.

I love the rough combination of the dark leather with the pony. The hidden platform and the arch are perfect. The contrast between the super-structured hard bottom and soft, slouchy top is hyper modern. The croc embossed heel and the signature piercing on the back give it "street cred" in my opinion. Love.

His price range is more reasonable than major designer brands. Thats actually what I'm going to focus on from now on. Who cares about major designer brands anymore?
