'living like a student' is NOT a good idea!
and im going to kill whoever told me to do so right about now. 6ab3an no sleep. my sleeping pattern hal ayam is nonexistant. meaning, sleeping is not taken for granted at the end of the day. itha not today then i say 'okay whatever let me try tomorrow.' the point is im dead tired now o rasi i3awirni and instead of taking the car service that i SHOULD have taken, 7adhrat janabi i decided it would be better to reserve the schools shuttle service. that didnt work. i take a taxi and then take a train 5 mins before it leaves for new york. then i decide to take this stupid shuttle bus thing to get to newark airport. thats all fine til the bus rams into this small car and sends it skidding off to the side of the road. and we just stopped for over 45 mins and the driver said it would only take 5 minutes. o the police came o 9arat salfa. i need to get to the airport i need to get to LA! you know, i just want one question answered in my life: how come all this weird stuff happens to me?? laish whenever i am plunked into a situation the lines of fate become tangled and trip all over each other? why do the eggs of destiny scramble in my presence? WHY? well, at least it was funny. note to self: min galich 'itwafreen'?? laish laish? just take the damn car service next time!

L.A.M.B and Queen
Hello L.A.M.B has a nice selection of interesting yet versatile shoes this season. Elegant shape, enough drama in the arch, perfect toe, fabulously thick puffy straps. Love. But I already have an ample supply of black shoes.
I really, really like these L.A.M.Bs. I liked them best in this grey because they look even more like cardboard cutouts. There is a fakeness about them which makes them seem light and airy yet spectacularly attention-grabbing. Really love!
L.A.M.B again. If you're looking for go-with-everything booties with a slight twist, i'd take these. Plus, they are so reasonable!

Jimmy for H&M

These shoes are the only item i liked from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. Since im stuck in the middle of flipping nowhere (though i love it), we dont really have an H&M here so i tried ordering them off ebay, the only place they would sell for US (OMG i have become an interenet shopping FREAK- as in the people at the mailroom don't even check my ID anymore!) and they were for over $250. On H&M? Ill pass.

Oh and this just makes me uncomfortable. HELLO Tamara, WTH? They had almost the exact same bag in Jimmy Choo stores last season. I remember, i wanted it. So what, since when did it become okay to just make cheaper, bad versions of your original stuff for High Street lines? Not okay!
Ew Ew Ew Marc
Hey Marc, the white leather ones were cute... 4 years ago. Oh and the logo fabric?? In cheap denim??? Worse than the Dior logo. And I really thought it couldn't get any worse. Seriously, who on earth would buy this mess?

On TV
Most epically beautiful moment in Gossip Girl. Serena standing in the Greenwich wood waiting like a fairyland nymph in a flowing salmon dress for Carter Baisen to ride in on horseback.

Remember that really crappy reality show NYC Prep that you watched in the summer in monstrous boredom until you realized you were not 12 years old? With those hilarious kids acting like shopping at designer stores is something super-special and only reserved for "wealthy New York Prep Schooler Elites"? Well, the only fashion of notice on that show was that blonde girl's friend's Dee and Ricky Headband. Which i did not see on the website. While i object to spending $75 on literally 4 pieces of lego stuck together, i still like it. I still want the Dee and Ricky lego bowtie they did for Takashi Murakami. Why cant i find it?

Memorable Vanessa moment on Gossip Girl. Her hair this season makes me want to kill someone its so bad but i adore this dress and necklace combination on her. She's slimmed down this season and the colour does marvelous things to her skin. Good choice wardrobe!
I always find myself going "oh! i should capture that!" whenever i see ceratin ma8a6i3. I really loved this one with Serena. The look on her face and her eyes are fantastic with the blue backgroud and the buddha head balances her hair.. oh just apppreciate it, so pretty.
Im not going to go on and on about the Bad Romance video. There are 5 million other blogs that already did that BUT... since WHEN did Lady Gaga have a body, so utterly, fantastically, perfectly, ridiculously, mind-bogglingly SLAMMING?

Don Draper in Mad Men, as you see i have a thing for simple blue backgrounds and pretty people in semi profile. :)

Qasimi
I know Confash has already posted about this but i would like to acknowledge the talent of Qasimi, the talented highly constructivist Emirati designer that i was introduced to by Khaleejesque. He's so on mood for this Lady-Gaga-mega-glam-obsessed era in fashion. Just wanted to point out a few things i likes. Although im not a fan of the OTT brashness of some of the outfits, the man has talent and i think with the crazy construction of some of his pieces, they would have been better off-set by plainness rather than more construction and colour. Enough talk. Picture-time!

Perfect metallic fabric + Crazy shoulder + Super-short = Spaceship Princess

Yo. Mad shoes.

Drama! Fan-like, opera-steps chiffon teamed with soft blue and gold mega-bling foot truck? How can i resist?

Gorge bolero. The shape is perfection and the yellow gold is not too yellow plus the fantastic collar offset by angular shoulders and vertical lapels spells M.E.

Grand finale. A tiny yet delicately constructed OMG gold bustier peeking out of filmy layers of blush chiffon in a nymph-esque criss-cross? TOO MUCH. Love at first flipping sight! This is the dress people endanger themselves with! In the best way possible!! yes yes YES

LOVE this website. For those who dont know yet, this is the best site for vintage stuf.. in my opinion. So here are my picks of the day for jewelry and one bag. Btw, all of their stuff are in wonderful condition and from legit dealers. And they have AMAZING funiture as well from excellent dealers! Oh, and i was in Salem lately, where they were having the Iris Apfel (huge
huge fan) exhibition and i couldn't see it cause it was closed and i was leaving the next day. SUCKS! t7aba6t.

Loved this cuff for pure cartoon-princess-bling factor!

Supercool Chanel leather biker choker from the 80s (i think). Wear this with lace tights, a high-waisted pleated skirt, a cropped Rick Owens leather jacket (tout in soft black) with hyper-strappy, brass-studded Catholic-schoolgirl reject shoes to complete an overkill 80s fashionista look to massacre!!

I love Roberta Di Camerino. Always did (really, before she started doing all her reissue stuff lately). My mother gave me this Roberta Di Camerino bag she had from the 80s a few years ago and although the colors are so impractical that only makes me adore it more! Anyways, this bag is fahb! the white as contrasted with that gorgeous sapphire blue products the most stunning effect and the obvious 80s-early 90s gold hardware and handle shape only add to its structured allure. MINE

KJL ridiculous elehant brooch. Need i say more? As always, i find myself drawn to KJL's early stuff much more than his standardized, bland Netaporter-safe boringnesses he produces nowadays.

This made me go "oh!" GLORIOUSLY, gorgeously, heart-stoppingly ME. This is a marvellously preserved feather turban wrapped in soft tulle made by Dior chapeaux in ether the 50s or 60s. Oh God!

Chanel pearl and poured glass necklace, ya3ni seriously no description required. Just stare and understand.
Au rev for now!

Miu Miu forma platforms. Love that she was so generous with the leather netting. So stupid. you'd think they're "so boring iff seen it all before givenchy did the hell out of it" but... not.
Louboutin CIRCUS! Do i need to explain?? To use the standardized tacky phrase "7adhom naar"Okay these 9ij i dont need to explain. Church's brogues. awalan, i had NO idea Church's isawoon women's shoes and i flipped when i found out. LOVE LOVE LOVE. So formal, so elegant, so masculine, so laced up. SO ME.
